The Evil

What is The Evil? The Evil is Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, or any other genocidal dictator. They are the Aryans, Racists, Theocrats, or anyone who seeks to subjugate others into their beliefs. They are the tyrants, they are the blights and scars history has left all mankind. In short, they are that which stands against The Good. Everything The Good stands for, they oppose. They are the un-good.

What drives The Evil? Why would anyone seek to go against The Good? They are, after all, the noble. What could motivate someone to act in a villainous manner? Why it is their hate, their greed, their lack of self-restraint. The Good, when they seek power, seek it solely to help those they have power over. The Evil though use it to further their own ideas, regardless of the actual consequences upon the weak, the slave class, and the ruled. That is what drives The Evil. Of course this is vague, so allow me to give some examples of The Evil at work.

Hitler is probably the example of The Evil. It is easy to see that without question. His story is well known after all, as are his misdeeds. He rose to power during the 30s from the ashes of the recently fallen Weimar Republic. After he took control and appointed himself fürer, he began to get a grip on Germany and its inhabitants. From there he created large armies and city police forces, some of which were nothing more than petty thug operations. His anti-Semitism, something which was not by any stretch of the imagination unique in Germany, was first focused on subjugating the Jews. They were not permitted to own businesses, could not own any nice properties. Eventually the Jewish population was either stuck in slums and ghettos that they were not permitted to leave from or they were deported. Finally, in one of the most grievous crimes humanity has ever seen, extermination began. By the time the Second World War was over, more than five million Jews were slaughtered. Ten, hundreds of millions died in the fighting of that war, and so Hitler has gone down in history as one of the most evil men to have ever lived. Could this man be anything but a member of The Evil?

Stalin is another member of The Evil. He may be even more evil than Hitler, for in the name of good, he killed millions of people in the former U.S.S.R. In this sense he was deceitful on top of being a villain. Stalin was the successor of Lenin, who helped create the Bolshevik revolution which liberated the U.S.S.R. from the hands of the Bourgeoisie. Stalin, in the name of continuing this goal, ordered the deaths of upwards of twelve million people. This number is staggering even when compared to Hitler. Yet these people may have been the lucky few for while Stalin lived his life in luxury, those he subjugated were subdued into their poverty ridden lives.

These are only two of the members of The Evil, but there are far more. Hundreds of millions of believed to have been killed, either directly or indirectly from the actions of The Evil in just the last century. Certainly everyone can agree that The Evil should be eradicated. However, not everyone does agree that The Evil should be eradicated. There are indeed those who are so misled that they seem to think that they are right! What sort of Naiveté is required to believe that killing innocent people is a good thing! But do not deceive yourself; there still are those who believe this, and so because of that, The Good and The Evil have been at war with one another and may continue to war for some time.
